A few times a year I send out a newsletter to readers, updating
them on books that I'm about to release, or sometimes even recommended
books that are in the same genre that I write in. I also give
away a free short story whenever I publish a new letter, which
will usually take place in the world of the Grays Harbor Series,
but sometimes it's another stand-alone horror story that just
needs to be told -- in 10,000 words or less that is.
I do respect your privacy, so your e-mail address will never
be sold or given away to anyone.
The first story is Ocosta, and if you signup for the newsletter,
you'll be directed to a site where you can download the short
story onto your ebook device. Set in the post-apocalyptic world
of Grays Harbor, Ocosta tells the story of Dean Porter, an ordinary
man who suddenly finds himself immersed in a terrifying existence.
After surviving a deadly pandemic, Dean struggles to endure
the challenges of living in a world without neighbors or relatives
- a world where even the most innocent of people can turn out
to be your worst enemy.
You should receive an email shortly after signing up, prompting
you to confirm your address before downloading the story. If
you didn't receive the email, or have any other problems with
the process, don't hesitate to contact me at james@jamesbierce.com
